Since its inception, centuries ago, the walking stick has been classified as a weapon, clothing accessory, aid of the sick, and even a symbol of power.  (Stronger/bigger the man, the bigger the stick)  Up until the 19th century and the dawn of the industrial revolution, walking sticks were made by hand and primarily out of wood or other natural materials.

Charles Buyers continues this hand-made walking stick tradition and that can be seen in their five (5) piece collaboration with William Fox & Sons.  Sold at Present London, these walking sticks are equal part works of art and utilitarian.
